Today was the first day of summer vacation. My big deal is sleeping in. Friday night, I went to bed at 9:30. I was tired, so I turned in earlier than normal. I woke up 12 hours later. Yes, 12 hours. I was exhausted I guess. Now, 3 days later with 8 to 10 hour sleep nights, I am feeling rested. My energy level is already increasing.


Today is Memorial Day. I am so grateful for the men who have served this country, and all the ones who died and left behind freedom for us. Our lives are so blessed that many of us go on about our bussiness daily without giving a thought about what that freedom has cost our soldiers in the the war that is still going on. "God Bless America, and God bless every Veteran".


I actually went in to work today to checkout what I'm going to need to get done before August. I won't be here the week before school starts because I'm going with Darryl and Chell and the boys to see my family. We leave on the 28th of July. I want to come back to a room that is ready to go. I'm cleaning out the shelves in the Lab. Most of the materials on them hasn't been used in many years and is very outdated. I bought plastic containers today that I plan to label and stock with materials. I am so excited that I will be in the Lab this coming year. Finally I will have a place to actually teach with the room to do so. Thank you Sheila!
