This past week has been especially busy. Lots going on. I'm still plugging away at school on getting my new room organized and situated for the first day back. The fire dept. is putting in new alarms and smoke detectors. I keep hearing from the custodian that they will be there this day or that, so I go in only to find out, when I do, that they never did anything. Oh well, just gonna take my chances from this point forward. I'm getting excited about our trip to TN.
Darryl had his eye surgery on Thursday. It's a totally different procedure than before and will take a bit longer and a bit more pain to get through to clear vision. But, I know it will be worth it to him. I just know it will work this time.
I had a wonderful 4th of July celebration. Went to a party and met some wonderful new people.
Lots of hassles, but isn't that just how it is in daily life? The good part is that when I really weigh it all our, I find that my life is composed way more of love, family pleasures, good times and wonderful people than hassles. It may sound a little Pollyanna, but I still believe it's a GREAT LIFE!
